Off-ice
The Hockey Academy at Ralph Engelstad Arena offers off-ice training to individuals, small groups and teams. Off-ice training is hockey specific and designed to improve hockey skills using top-of-the-line hockey specific training equipment.
Off-ice training is a combination of an intense strength and conditioning program, precise training in the Hockey Skill Center and on the Skating Treadmill. Off-ice training will help improve stride length and frequency, more accurate shooting and puck handling skills and overall hockey abilities.
Hockey Academy coaches and trainers work with each player to build hockey skills and confidence. Players receive immediate feedback from the coaches and trainers during training.
