2020 ND Summer Hockey Camp - Mite/Terminate, Squirt, Peewee & Bantam

THA North Dakota Hockey Camps will be held at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, ND. Summer Camp is scheduled to run three weeks in July starting on July 6th. Each week will have its own focus but all will help players develop their skating, skills and playmaking ability.

Monday - Thursday each week: Players arrive at 12:30pm and rotate through on-ice session and drills, dryland session, video/snack session and a ball hockey session before being dismissed at around 4:30pm.   

Friday mornings each week: each group has a one hour game and are dismissed for the week after the game finishes.

Cost $325/week with limited skaters and goalies per group. 

WEEK 1: July 6 - 10 Power Skating & Skills

WEEK 2: July 13-17 Shooting & Stickhandling

WEEK 3: July 20-24 Edgework, Skills & Positioning

Week 1 - Mite/Terminate, Squirt & Peewee

Week 3 - Mite/Terminate, Squirt, Peewee & Bantam

Camp Features

  • On-ice activities held in Ralph Engelstad Olympic Arena

  • Dryland held outdoors or inside THA Skills Room

  • Ball hockey held in REA Main Arena (cement floor)

  • High-tempo/small groups will be emphasized during practices 

  • Plyometric/quick foot emphasis during outdoor activities

  • Monday - Thursday 12:30pm arrival and 4:45 departure

  • Friday morning - scrimmage

  • Coaches will include current and former UND hockey players, as well as other local high school, college and junior hockey players

  • To be confirmed: camp includes THA Hockey Camp jersey, THA t-shirt, video session/tour of UND hockey locker room, award/certificates

Notes and Things to Know

  • ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE FILLED OUT ONLINE. Spots for each group are limited and will fill up. The only way to secure a spot is to complete the registration online.

  • Register for the age level you will play during the 2020-21 season.

  • If there are any requests for kids to be in the same group, please do this as soon as possible via email. Requests can be sent to Kyle Kosior at 

  • Players should have athletic clothing and proper footwear for off ice activities.

  • Water bottles, backpacks, and a small snack are good items to bring to the rink each day.
